Ormiston Gorge really is an outback oasis. Located in the heart of Australia, the surrounding landscape is dry and arid but once you walk down the creek to this gorge the mood changes, all of a sudden there are beautiful big trees full of birds singing, the temperature is cooler and a refreshing pool of water is waiting for you to jump in.

Arriving nice and early i was able to beat the crowds and also to get the best light, with gorges like this the best light is before sunrise or just on sunset when the light is nice and soft.
